Not a lot of time for posting this weekend as I'm working on a consulting deadline and of course that means that my little girls are having a hard time with staying in bed so I can work!
So, with no further delay - this week's main One Local Summer meal this evening was:
Steak Strips from our very own M4-D Ranch steak
Cheesy Baked Potatoes - potatoes from the Lor's Produce Stand at the Agricenter Farmer's Market - grown within 50-60 miles of me
Speckled Butter Beans - also from the Agricenter Farmer's Market and grown in Brownsville, TN, which is about 30 -40 miles away.
Not local: cheese and butter on potatoes. Butter is organic, but not local.
Sorry no pictures of tonight's meal - my camera is being difficult!

Hubby was recently talking about local beef. He used to get beef this way when he was younger in Arkansas. I'm glad I found your site today. We're in Millington so you're definitely local. :)
