One Local Summer ~ Week 6

My husband is home on a weekend pass and had to leave around 2:00 this afternoon to return to Fort Knox. So, we had a family Sunday lunch ~ here's what was on the menu:

~ Rotisserie Leg of Lamb - from our M4-D Ranch pastured lamb

OLS Week 6 - rotissiere lamb

~ Summer Vegetable Medley - a saute' of local veggies: yellow squash, cabbage, potatoes, onions and eggplant. The squash came from a friend about 20 miles away. The cabbage, potatoes and onions came from our local farmer's market. The eggplant came from our backyard garden.

OLS Week 6 - Summer Vegetable Medley

~ Cucumber Salad - one of my husband's favorites. Cucumbers came from a friend about 20 miles away.

~ Sliced Ripley Tomatoes - from the town of Ripley, TN - about 60 miles away
