This year I have already planted a few veggies in pots(I am sure veggies will be expensive again this year due to the economy). We live in Ohio so gardening season is pretty far way right now!
I plan on having a lot of veggies for my family to snack on. By growing them, we can afford to eat tons of them and will nothave to worry about what has been sprayed on them also!
So far I have green peppers, onions and carrots planted in pots sitting in my kitchen. Won't be long and we will be feasting!

My tip for staying healthy is to get a lot exercise. I walk/bike/run/jump rope with my two boys. I always have salad fixings ready to go in the refrigerator so we won't have an excuse to not eat fresh veggies.
I would love to win the yogurt pack. We eat a lot of yogurt.

This year I'm cooking more from scratch - in order to avoid processed foods. Also looking for colorful foods, like red bell peppers and purple grapes (colorful M&M's don't count! :))

i have found as long as i eat SOME raw fruits and vegetables every day my body feels much healthier, and as gahomemom2 said lots of water... absolutely!
we're also trying to produce / and or consume LOCAL foods - as close to the source as possible... if we can't grow it, we'll try to buy whenever possible from someone locally who can :)
My tip is to keep a balance in your life. A time for work, a time for play, a time to create, a time to rest -- these are the things that keep me healthy. :)
Drink a glass of water BEFORE you eat. It fills you up and you tend to eat less.

Hi!
My tip is Cranberry or Cranapple, it really helps to fight kidney infections...
Hi, I think drinking lots of water daily hydrates skin and flushes out our body! Many thanks, Cindi

I have made a healthy menu this year and I am sticking to it. This also saves me money so I am not buying chips and soda!

My healthy tip is to take food to work instead of buying it there. I take good for you snacks to eat instead of going to the vending machines. I take healthy choices instead of eating food from the cafeteria. I know what's in my food and it's better for me. The side bonus is it's a lot cheaper!
And yes, yogurt is something I take to work often. I "dress it up" with flaxseeds or muesli cereal and fruit.
